Betano FSCB - concept art & matte paintings

Betano FSCB is a 2D animation clip in collaboration with Genesis Motion Design, I was tasked to design the characters in a style suitable for animation. Stylistically, we were aiming towards shape and colour simplification yet staying through to realistic proportion and anatomy with a push on grandeur energy.

The background/ matte paintings was of dark medieval vibe. You could probably tell Modor from Lord of the Rings was our main influence.
