Lighting Design Seminar
Last week I shared some lighting design tips at a concept art seminar hosted by CGProtege. I've always interested in how lighting set up convey certain mood, especially in movies. So for the demo I prepared the top image before hand. It is to convey danger, the guy, although is hiding behind a wall but is clearly exposed in the light. As for the bottom piece, I had the guy in dark, monsters in light, creating a mood that he is in control.

I had a great time. Especially enjoy watching the other artists sharing their skills & experience. I also had a portfolio review for a few students and professionals, giving feed back and suggestion instantly can be quite tiring, but it was fun. I hope everyone bring back something useful :)
